Science Fair

Advancing science education and encouraging students to innovate and break through personal boundaries

The National Primary & High School Science Fair is to promote the development of science education and enhance students' interest and understanding of science. By participating in the science fair, students are able to showcase their innovative ideas, research projects, and experimental outcomes in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The science fair also provides opportunities for students, experts, teachers, and other science enthusiasts to learn from and communicate with each other. It not only facilitates communication and interaction among participants regarding scientific topics but also drives the advancement of scientific research. Thus, the national primary and secondary school science fair serves as a multifaceted educational activity with diverse objectives.

In addition to fostering students' inquiry skills within the curriculum, our school actively encourages students in the primary and secondary levels to participate in science fair competitions. During the winter vacation period, we organize training sessions, and in the secondary section, we also offer extracurricular courses specifically for science fair competition preparation. These courses provide professional instructors to offer more advanced guidance. The purpose of organizing the science fair goes beyond showcasing the research achievements of primary and secondary school students through competitive exhibitions involving written reports, posters, and oral presentations conducted under fair and transparent judging processes. We also aim to stimulate students' interest in scientific research through the science fair process, and enhance their abilities in innovative thinking, active and cooperative learning, as well as problem-solving skills.
