在太陽和雲朵的見證下我們又出發了，今天是環臺的第八天，我們從臺中騎到苗栗，早上的路段是要騎過大肚山，一路上起起伏伏坡不算太陡，我們辛勤的踩著踏板像是要與它決鬥，酸楚感從我們的腳蔓延開來。過程中有大卡車的威脅，但也有路邊花草的陪伴，一路上順利的騎完了上午的路程來到餐廳。
然而，下午的行程遠比我想像中的還要困難，深藏不露的緩上坡，遠遠看似乎是平的，但騎起來卻異常辛苦，還有一座座的上坡真的快把我們的體力耗盡，我們一邊躲避臨近的大卡車一邊繼續前進，最終才抵達目的地。
回想起過去幾天的騎乘，總是不敢相信自己竟然做到了，我們在一天內經歷了四季、被逆風阻撓、受到風雨洗禮，一路上真的充滿挑戰。「人生過程中有喜樂也有不如意的時候，希望你都能平靜的接受挑戰、用心思考。」這是我媽媽在家書裡給我的啟示，而我認為這正是這趟旅程我學到的，希望剩下的兩天我們都能平安回家。

Today was actually not too hardcore, but I noticed that we still require much stamina to ride through all the ascents and flat roads. I had a hard time riding the uphills that seemed to be smooth yet was in reality hard to climb. After all these days, I have noticed two important aspect of completing this cycling trek, which are friendship and mutuality.
Friendship is an immense element that will assist you in successfully accomplishing all the requirements. A stable friendship can bring you benefits, like they will help, embrace, and be with you when you need them. There are also some friendship where you will notice the gap or discover new facet of your friends, through getting into a fight, assisting each other, and/or from working as a team and as a group. From the first day all the way to the first day of April, we have been working with our homeroom class, and working with new people apart from school classes. In this time period, I have formed new friendship with my classmates, also roommates, get to know them better than before.
Another aspect that I discovered from this journey is mutuality, being mutual, which contain synergy, proactive, and many other points. Mutuality appears and works very well when each of us are focusing on one thing, it could be washing clothes with the roommates, it could be to gather as a class and get ready for a new destination, from small to big tasks. Being effective, self-sufficient and supportive can result in success. Being mutual, completing a work together for instance lining up as a cycling group or calling out the command to the back of the line (when riding bicycles) are all important phenomenon of mutuality.
Lastly, I wanted to thank all the teachers and classmates that came along and stayed with me for this entire trip. I love them all and I enjoyed a lot because of them.
