The core of school education lies in promoting "holistic development," with the essence of a school's existence being to facilitate "learning and growth." As a school leader, I have been dedicated to fostering a culture of learning organizations for many years. I have led the teaching team in developing innovative curricula and teaching methods, improving the quality of instruction, and enhancing student learning outcomes. Through a variety of courses and activities, children engage in deep learning processes that involve "hands-on activities, critical thinking, and joyful actions," integrating knowledge, emotions, skills, physical fitness, and character to become well-rounded and healthy individuals. 

Cultivating Key Competencies for Lifelong and Autonomous Learning

Recognizing the profound importance of technology in the future of education, AI will open more possibilities for learning. Therefore, we are committed to developing students' literacy in technology, enabling them to utilize it to learn new concepts and solve problems. The curriculum at KCISLK emphasizes lifelong learning, encouraging students to maintain curiosity and motivation in an ever-changing world, thus becoming lifelong learners. Through 5G networks and digital learning platforms, we provide personalized support systems and rapid learning feedback to ensure learning efficiency.

Stimulating Intrinsic Motivation for Exploring the World and Active Learning

Our curriculum emphasizes an attitude of active learning and inquiry, empowering children to take ownership of their learning. Through a diverse array of learning contexts and activities, we inspire students to maintain a desire to explore and investigate the world further. "Learning" occurs not only in the classroom but also through real-world events, elite courses, and inquiry-based thematic case studies and project-based issue-focused learning. These approaches help students apply knowledge to deepen fundamental skills, develop problem-solving abilities, and foster innovative thinking. 

Cultivating Empathy, Emotional Intelligence, and Interpersonal Skills

In an era where virtual learning spaces and reality intersect, interpersonal communication and engagement have transcended limitations, making relationships a crucial aspect of our children's lives. In the future, Kang Chiao Linkou will focus even more on nurturing students' empathy, emotional education, emotional management skills, and resilience to setbacks. By integrating SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) programs into class activities and counseling courses, we aim to help children enhance their psychological well-being, establish healthy relationships, and improve their overall happiness in life and learning.

Valuing Multicultural and International Education

KCISLK goes beyond enhancing English communication skills to include multicultural and international education. This approach aims to cultivate students' respect and understanding of different cultures, broadening their global perspectives. In the future, we will facilitate more international exchanges and online interactive learning programs, allowing children to naturally encounter diverse cultures and viewpoints. This will help nurture students at Kang Chiao Linkou to become global citizens. 

Fostering Global Citizenship

In the era of globalization, enhancing students' global citizenship is a key educational focus for KCISLK. We aim to cultivate cross-cultural understanding, cooperation, and inclusiveness through interdisciplinary courses on global issues such as climate change, social justice, and sustainable development. Critical thinking will be encouraged to aid in deep analysis and decision-making, while a sense of global responsibility will inspire students to engage with global issues. Our goal is to nurture future leaders who possess the ability to think and act, with a strong sense of fairness, justice, and responsibility. 

Constructing Multilayered Courses with Real-World Contexts and Digital Learning

In response to the dramatic changes brought by the AI era, we will initiate multilayered digital learning courses. Our teaching team will collaborate and learn digital technologies to develop self-directed digital learning courses tailored to students' individual needs. Through an integrated learning process combining virtual and real-world experiences, students can synthesize and transform their experiences. This approach not only enhances self-directed learning abilities but also extends and deepens learning experiences. 

Fostering a Learning Organization Culture and Professional Learning Communities

Creating a school culture filled with "love, life, and learning" is the driving force behind a school's innovation and development of excellence. In the future, we will establish a warm and efficient learning organizational culture through open, caring, and trustworthy dialogue structures. We will also enhance teachers' professional skills and the quality of curriculum and instruction by developing professional learning communities. 

The Image of Collaborative Parent-Teacher-Student Partnership

We actively promote collaborative partnerships among parents, teachers, and students through parent meetings from each class, parent representative conferences, parent committees, and diverse, friendly communication channels. This helps build consensus, mutual trust, and cooperation between parents and teachers. Through parent development courses and school activities, we foster a collaborative learning community, enabling every member of the KCISLK family to become a better version of themselves through learning. 

Spreading Passion and Hope Through Education

Education is a quiet revolution and a hope project for creating the future. We are committed to providing students with an educational environment for comprehensive development, cultivating them into wise, empathetic, and responsible global citizens. As mentioned in The Alchemist: "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." With this passion and belief, I will continue to ignite the spark in education and create a brighter future for KCISLK!
